Your story is public. Your account details stay private.
Public profiles
Approved business names, founder stories, photographs, locations, offerings, and links appear publicly. Pending changes and ownership evidence stay private to the founder and administrators.
Accounts and connections
We store your account name, email, password hash, and profile records. Connection messages are stored and sent to the selected business only after the sender confirms their email address. A separately verified contact email can receive business inquiries.
Photographs and evidence
Public photographs can be downloaded by visitors. Ownership proof files are private and accessible only to their owner and administrators. Avoid uploading unnecessary personal information.
Analytics and payments
Profile views and outbound clicks are counted using daily pseudonymous visitor hashes, without storing raw IP addresses in analytics. Short-lived abuse prevention records also use hashes. Stripe handles payment details; StarterDiscovery stores subscription references and status rather than card numbers.
Your choices
Update your name, password, account email, and contact email in Account settings. Delete unused images in your media library. Ask the site operator about account deletion, records, or privacy through the Contact page. Essential session cookies protect sign-in and forms; this package does not add advertising cookies.
